Elevoplasty

Elevoplasty

Elevoplasty is a minimally invasive, in-office procedure that can help reduce the severity of snoring. The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia and involves lifting and stiffening the soft palate without the need for invasive surgery.

Benefits of Elevo

Elevo’s delivery system avoids the drawback of other snoring interventions as it does not rely on moving the tongue and does not involve general anesthesia. Elevoplasty does not require the patient to wear a nighttime appliance after the procedure.
The suture implant used in Elevoplasty is completely resorbed into the body within six months post-procedure. The implant is comprised of polydioxanone, which has been found to be nonantigenic and degrades into two substances that are both endogenous to the body: lactic acid and water.
